and the drooling has stopped. No if I can get my hands to stop shaking...

you're lucky. My camera went unoperational due to dust on thursday and I bet my ccd cleaning stuff won't get here until friday of next week :(

Never heard of dust KILLING a camera... You should still be able to at least take (speckled) pictures...

Just take all your shots out of focus, and at ISO1600 and you wont notice the dust spots... :-).
