Can anyone tell me the default values in the curves dialog box when you double click on the black eyedropper tool?

In the RGB boxes, there should be numbers to each one -- because of this book I'm reading, I changed mine to "20" "20" "20" and I'm not happy with the results lol.

Also, for the Highlight eyedropper tool, I changed mine to "240" "240" "240" -- what is default?

I would assume that it would be 0, 0, 0 and 255, 255, 255...but looking for someone to confirm this.

Or is there a reason I should leave them where they currently are? The book basically says it will help to get rid of a color cast, but the way it is, it seems to add a color cast to all of my images.

They are 0,0,0 and 255,255,255 as you expected :)

I have 0,0,0 and 255, 255, 255 yes.

What a difference that makes. It's so hard to see a slight color cast -- but once you fix it, and go back and forth to see the difference, it becomes so apparent.
