Contrast slider, better WB and sharpening AND better noise reduction - kicks so much butt! Woo!!!
Anyways, I know the thread is old, but I didn't wanna start another one that'd get locked. lol

Thanks for posting Matt--I didn't know there was a patch already for 4.2. I've had pretty frequent crashes too, so I hope this is better.
But feature wise, 4.2 is great, and thankfully, batch rename from EXIF now works!
Did you try RawShooter? In many ways, I like it better, especially the controls equivalent to PS's Shadow/Highlights. But not having any way to mark a crop makes me return to Bibble every time.
I also find the noise reduction in RawShooter a bit better (I note your comment though earlier about how you liked Bibble's noise reduction. It does work! |

Have you guys tried long exposures with Bibble (or RSE for that matter)? Either it's poor support for my antique camera or they can't seem to get it right. ACR's colour fidelity, albeit with calibration, is considerably better than RSE or Bibble. This is not to say Bibble or RSE is bad, just that ACR is better (and in the case of long exposures, exceptionally better).
I updated the raw samples in my raw collection for the updated versions of Bibble and RSE. The original three were posted in this thread (which I've edited to include the new ones). Bibble fixed the horizontal lines, but not the other artifacts. |

Anyone have any idea what price the two diff versions are? |
I believe it's $69; I don't recall how much the pro version was--maybe $99. |
BibbleLite is free, just in case anyone didn't know that, and it KICKS BUTT, just IMHO. Especially for PSP users, because it has a couple of features that PS has but PSP doesn't. Love it. |

I have Bibble Light 4.2, and it was $69. There's a free 30 day trial. Where do you find that it's free?
The Pro version does a few extra things and it's $99, I believe.
Home page: Bibble Labs
Text from their site enumerating "versions":
Bibble is now available in two different editions "Bibble Pro" and "Bibble Lite".
Bibble Pro contains the entire feature-set and is geared towards the working professional. A Pro license also includes an unlock code that works on all three supported platforms.
Bibble Lite utilizes all the same technology and produces the same high quality images as the Pro version but lacks some professional oriented features. A Lite license is only valid for a single platform.
