I was downtown taking pictures on the 7th. Here are some of my pictures. Please, feedback them. Thanks.
:D
"Overshadowed"
"Coming to America"
"The LeVeque Tower"
"Ohio's Greatest" (just something fun I tried... It probably sucks, or could be done much better, but it was fun.)
As for shooting conditions, it peaked 60 degrees that day. There also was about 50 mph wind gusts. The clouds were moving so fast overhead, at one time it'd be blue, and then it'd be real stormy in like, 30 seconds. I took some shots that I wish I'd stayed for the background to change, but oh well.
Thanks for looking/commenting
James

Nice shots. Like the sharp lines and contrasts also the low POV. |

Nice downtown shots. You should've gotten one of the huge graduation cap! I think it's on Rich or Town street....somewhere around there. |

AAAAh brings back memories. I went to Ohio State. What a great time. Nice pictures, especially overshadowed and triumvirate.

Heh, yeah, it's right near where I go to college. Franklin University. Unfortunately I had parked by the LeVeque Tower and it would've been a loong walk. Thanks for the feedback!
I might try on monday (when my class is) to get a good night shot of the cap lit up... maybe.
Out of the bunch, Triumverate is my favorite. I've ordered a print from myself and I'm gonna hang it on my wall next to "Chief Leatherlips" :D |

As building go looks pretty good. It would be interesting to see a b/w versions of the buildings. The nature of buildings really lend to the black and white process.
For some strange reason the blue of the sky looks unnaturally blue. Must be because I live in San Francisco :P

the sky in the 2nd and 3rd shots is a wierd shade of blue, cyan like... a recommendation would be to use a polarizing filter or try to change it a bit in photoshop. Cyan skies really bother me for some reason. Other than that they look nice.
Edit; can't spell
