Can someone tell me what all those LIVESTRONG bracelets found in the yellow challenge are? I've never seen or heard of them before. |

Basically those that have lost someone or have been affected by cancer are wearing these. The Lance Armstrong foundation is helping to promote cancer awareness with this armbands. |

I used mine in the Hope challenge. However, I did not want to repeat it in the Yellow.

I dont know about that part with everyone wearing them if they have cancer or know someone with cancer. Id say about well over half of our school wears them, including me and i havent lost any one to cancer. Its still supporting a good cause either way.

I believe they have pink ones that say hope on them now for breast cancer, and blue ones for something else.

I am wearing mine for support. I actually bought 10 (+ $25 donation) of them and gave them out to my family. My fathers wife was terminaly ill with cancer and she just passed away Friday after Thanksgiving. I just want to support the cause. We also participate in bike rides where the riding fees go to Alzheimers, or Cancer, or Multiple Sclerosis, etc. foundations.
Make sure when you buy it, buy it from legitimate source and not eBay. You want the proceeds go to the foundation rather than someone's pocket.

The pink say "Champions of Hope" for Brest Cancer, and have the little ribbon indented on it. I don't know about nationwide, but around here you can get them at Krogers. |

The blue bands are to support anti-bullying in any organisation. They have originated here in Britain. |

I have a blue one, but it's for my school ("Olentangy Pride"). I haven't seen the anti-bullying ones |

No doubt a good cause but I bet because of this thread, those entries have the highest amount of views/votes/comments. I know we're not discussing specific aspects of either photo, but we are no the less singling them out. That's not really fair to anyone, especially the photographer(s) who shot the image.

Cmon Owen, talking about LIVESTRONG isn't going to change anybodies vote. We aren't even talking about photographing them. I just wanted to know what they represent. |
