I've just took a quick view over the entries and i'm just really happy to see so much great pictures. I think it's going to be hard to find one to be a winner because they all seem winners. Great job to everyone who entered on it.
I'm just so sad that i could not have the time to submit. Here in Portugal there are very nice landmarks and it's almost too difficult to choose one.
Once again very good everyone, i'm going to enjoy voting on this challenge. Good luck to everyone.

Yeah the landmark entries are, as a whole, brilliant.
I was having trouble thinking of something to shoot (Brisbane isn't exactly teeming with exciting landmarks - finally at the last minute I came up with a viable entry - thought it would do pretty well after the fairly disappointing authority / time passing challenge). But what confronts me when I start voting... A hoard of spectacular shots - I really do pick the wrong challenges :).
Well done! |

Very impressive challenge!!! Beautiful photography - so many high scores! Wow is right! Here in Kankakee - landmarks? Yeah, right. We do have the little gazebos David Letterman bestowed upon us several years ago for being ranked last in "Places Rated Almanac." LMAO! |

Can't believe I chose to sit this one out and noone from New England offered up a shot of Boston's Big Dig Bridge!
It's ok tho, too much really good stuff in the challenge to even compete. Very nice job all.

No why would someone like me..from R.I. want to shoot anything in Bosotn for a Landmark when R.I. was the first of the English colonies to declare its independence..the last to sign0 the declaration of independence an only signed under the threat of being declared an independant nation. We have the nations oldest Baptist Church, the Worlds 4th Largest Free Standing Dome, We are the Home and founders of Religous Freedom in the United States, We have Universities and Colleges with some of the oldest architecture in the country. Then of course there is the Newport & Jamestown Bridges, The Big Blue Bug..I am so oversaturated with famous landmarks here in R.I. I didn't even know where to begin..We even had a T.V. show on for nearly 4 years that many loved..Providence..So please tell me why anyone in NEw England would want to go take pictures of a big hole in the ground..( :
Yes of course there is lots of history and heritage and landmarks everywhere around the world..I am just prideful of my state, its culture and history. It is also one the best summer vaction spots in the world. So come visit me sometime and we can take a ride to go see the big hole..
