i took these, and about 800 others just like it, less than 48 hours before the landmarks challenge started.

LOL. i just wanted to share.

Don't want to rub salt in your wound, but I would have given you a 10. Those are some great shots. You should upload them to your portfolio for all to see!

i especially like the first one. well, at least now you may be able to clone out some of the light flaring into the shot at the bottom, and can crop some of the other light.. otherwise, great picture (some may prefer less noise, but i don't think it's necessarily.. necessary to remove it. looks great the way it is)

Wow. Where were the shots during the b/w challenge? Especially the first one.

They are both terrific, but that first one is just amazing. It really is one of the best-ever I seen of the tower. It is very different from any treatment I have seen. Just love it.

First one was a winner for sure (sorry). Great shot!

muckpond - I would have given you a 1 for both of those.

The subject is featureless and uninteresting and no one's going to be able to find their way around using that piece of junk as a marker.

:D

Me, too. That's more of a tourist attraction than a landmark- 1. Feel better?

Really, you would have had to beat off a ribbon with a DQ on those shots. :-(

I was lying? It's pathetic, shameful trash? It couldn't meet a challenge if it were the last photo on Earth? I'm trying, but it's just not working. It's still a 10. Sorry - I tried.

Another 10 for the Humor Challenge. You're making it worse.

I was thinking the same thing. That should have been in the humor instead of black/white. Would have been a winner in it.

Can't wait to see more of your trip. These 2 are both outstanding.

The lighting pattern is copyright so you can't use it anyway : (

I know we have a couple of eiffel tower pics at night -but we let the buyer make the decision on those.
