I used something completely different than this in humor and it's not doing well. So here's my alternate--what would you have score this for humor II?

Titles:
"Here Come the Judge" or "Wolf in Sheeps Clothing"

This does not in any way relate to my entry.

it's a cute photo - though the focus seems a bit soft.
i always have a hard time getting the snout, and eyes fully crisp - but generally for close ups they are done indoors, and at a wide'ish aperture.

i would have given this a 5 probably.

my humor entry isn't fairing too well either, and i thought it was an off beat attempt. but i don't have any out takes.
4.7 ish - err

Neil - I think you are headed in the right direction with your title...to expand [for Americans] "Here come de Judge, here come de Judge, eva'body rise cause here come de Judge."

You're right, it should have been "de Judge"!

Edit: Change the title, but now, I wonder, is it "da Judge"?

Still trying to get the feel whether people think this is "funny".

My actual entry has a couple of comments, "what's funny about this"?

So if a picture makes you smile, isn't that funny? Does this make you smile?

Humor is a very fickle thing. But I think the essence of humor is first identifying with the subject. When the subject of a photo is a human or an animal their eyes convey emotion. When I look at the dog in your photo he seems somehat sad, no amused. And I'm not usually amused by causing sadness or pain either. But that's just me.
