I do like Canon product and dream about a 20D but since I can only dream of a DSLR and because of my job I have better prices on Sony products I always purchase Sony camera. I changed recently and I was so amazed by the performance of my new DSC-V3 that I was really surprised to see that we are only 3 owners (2 in fact because alienspy is my girlfriend). I supposed it was because people don't want to spend the same amount of money for a sony when they can have a canon for the same price because canon is a camera company for a long period of time. Tonight DPreview made me proud of my choice because they did make the same. "...The G6 isn't quite perfect but the curious thing about this camera is that despite the fact that it doesn't perform as well as the Sony DSC-V3 (our pick of the bunch)..."
From a guy who thought he was a second grade camera owners for 2 years...

Sometimes we get carried away with our brand loyalties here on dpc. Everybody should feel good about the camera they have choosen. I'm glad you found that review to support your choice.

| Some people forget that Sony makes most of the sensors,lcd's and other parts used in most digicams. Have a look here. |
