Fish sound good. either wild or domestic. you could always put a backdrop behind the tank.

I have several animals shots. Whether or not they are good is debatable as I am really new at this game, but I would gladly submit them to you for your perusal. The shots I have include wildlife, domestic animals and marine creatures. DO let me know if you are interested and I will gladly forward them to you.

Okay, seriously now, here we go, I will revise the first post of this thread to incorporate the ideas put forth so far and start other threads for the other ideas.

BUT I am going to need help on this, I have only 3 free days a week and this weekend will be very busy with my daughter participating in a horse clinic all weekend.

So stay tuned!

Only one question, is that under the letter D for Deer or B for backside?

Deannda
Which do you prefer? :)

Heres the breakdown (to help out a little). Photos are needed for the letter A-Z. 26 letters requires 26 people, with backups accepted as well. If you have an animal you can photograph, list it in a new post on this thread so the counting can begin. A list will be comprised with each letter, its animal, and the accepted photographer.

To Deannda: Just tryin to help out!:)

So i'm taking the X !

But I would love to know
1. if I can use a picture I have already taken or do I need to get a new one, and 2. If it's split into wildlife and domestic or just animals in general

Hi..I would like to take a stab at this being a newbie here and all. I live in Rhode Island and will try to get a picture of a Rhode Island Red for you. It is a specific chicken native to only Rhode Island. I also live very close to Roger Willams Park Zoo. The zoo has a huge array of animals in natural settings. From Polar Bears & Lions, Cheetahs and Giraffes and even Elephants. I will ahvet ocheck on the cmera thing at the gate in the zoo..there is also some beautiful old building there in the park..But most importantly..there is the Museum of Natural History there as well and I know for sure they have a stuffed Do Do Bird there, Saber Toothed Tiger and some other now extinct animals.
Let me know if I am in and what you nee for pictures: ie: subject, resolutions, size...etc..please keep in mind I am a newbie to all of this and will try my best with my little Nikon Coolpix3200.

Choose the one that you like the most and you will be put down for that one. Then you will be put for backups for the other letters.

Choose a specific animal of a letter that has not been chosen yet, and you will be put down for it. It would be easier if you would specify one that you would like to do.

Hi, I'm interested.

What letters are left and how do you get assigned one.
12/04/2004 02:08:37 PM · #44
the letters still remaining are...
A,B,E,F,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,Q,R,S,U,V,W,Y, and Z

Just post the letter and the animal and voila, you'll be added to the list.
-Robert

For anyone whose letter has already been taken, you can either apply to be a backup or check out Collaborative Project #8: Wildlife Here
