... at Flickr - a Beta version of a great new photo sharing site.

Upload up to 10MB free every month but with no limit on total storage capacity - allows 3 organised sets of photos. By upgrading to a paid membership you can get much more, but this is pretty good for free. You can check out others' images via keyword tags and leave comments, set up themed groups for discussion and organise your images into sets. Well worth checking out.

Mine are here.

Thanks for that. Looks like a cool site. Your work is amazing. Looks even better presented like that.

Your upload limit is measured in bandwidth, or "throughput", not actual storage space.

10MB of bandwidth space is used up pretty quickly

My shots were all put up last month - that's plenty of bandwidth in my view, and I still had 10% left. I think they've got a great idea there since it really keeps traffic moving.

A much sought after increase in portfolio space here at DPC is one feature I wish would be implemented because it's one of the few reasons to venture elesewhere to store images on-line.

I can´t view the images on the page. Is there something wrong with the page now or is it just me?

Think so and I´ve conected a thing called screen to it also.
Just see the small red X where the images should be.

10 whole mb of bandwith? jeeze that's like a handful of photos per month and you've exceeded your quota. that kinda sucks.

Don't forget Jay - you get 10MB in total storage here. Have you filled your portfolio yet? And how long did it take? On Flickr you can store 120MB over a year - for free.

They automatically process and sharpen your images (to around 600px wide), so if you optimise your files first you can get the best out of it. What is there to criticise - it is free after all and you need membership here to geta portfolio?? Do you want them to pay you? : )

Hey Flickr does look really nice, I have tried so many different photo sites mostly the free trial ones to see how they were ...Very few are as practicle and nice looking as that one is. I think the developers have finally got the hang of it. Wow! thanks for sharing.

yeah but the 10mb in storage is just your thumbnails. the printable files are much larger. also that's storage, not bandwith

Jeez, this thread left me confused as heck as to what the "storage" limits are! Had to go and read it for myself :O

Upload bandwidth.
In dpc terms you can upload 68 challenge entries per month, not bad if you've got small hands :P

Good to see they're Creative Commons friendly too. Thanks for the link Jon.
