Congratulations to Sammie for her ribbon in the ‘time passing’ challenge. It’s the first time (of many) I see the Panasonic FZ20 placing in the top 3. However we must remember the FZ20 was just a tool and Sammie was the real talent here. So as I give props to the FZ20, I ten fold them to Sammie for a great entry. Congratulations Sammie and I hope there are many more ribbons in your future.

Thank you very much, Scott! It is really a privilege to be the first one to get a ribbon with the FZ20. Since it is such a neat camera, I imagine many more people will be getting good scores with it.
I do like the improvements that have been made over the FZ10. The 9 point auto focus is very nice. Makes taking set up shots easier than before. The focus assist light is also nice - makes it much easier to focus in low light. Both of these features really helped on my ribbon winning picture of the hour glass. It was shot in very low light, with an 8 neutral density filter, so the screen was almost totally black. The focus assist light was such a big help. |

Way To Go Sammie, you da lady!!!
That's a really neat shot. You set the bar high for the rest of us FZ20 users, but you are a talented photographer no matter what camera is in your hands.
