I found a lot of [removed] in the shots. Seem to be the number one subject matter...gave them all low to moderate scores Reminds me of my old high school drawing classes. Second most popular was [removed]. I found that there was a lot of potential with this subject matter but everyone whom used it, lost the opportunity to create some great compositons..I gave them all low scores..sorry guys. The ones that I found to be the best and gave 10's to were (not in any order).."[removed]".. "[removed]" got a 10 becuase [removed], and very good composition.. . And finally I gave a 10 to [removed]. The shot was [removed]. Whether it was intention or not..I feel it was.
I criticed all the shots submitted by everyone in the challenge. I gave out a lot of 6,7,8 and four 9's for their hard work. I think people here need to be a little more generous with their understanding of the works presented. I look at some of the rankings from previous challenges and somewhere deep down inside I get a feeling of low scores given out of spite rather than being un-bias. It is hard..I know..but people need to keep an open mind when you vote..and you should vote especially if you have submitted a photo.

You 'criticed' all the entries...i imply from that you left comments. Apparently not on mine. Please clarify your statement.
While you can vote anyway you want, and should give extra points for originality or creative take on a challenge, it is a bit unfair to reduce the vote just because there are a lot of the same type of image or subject. Tempting, sure. I have had that feeling after seeing 10 of the same thing, by the 10th I start to want to give 2's and say 'un original', BUT this is actually a very good oppurtunity to comment (critique) those similar shots - there are as many wayt to photograph an egg or candle as there are photographers. Some shots will be great, some poor. Tell the photog what YOU think cold make their entry a better photograph.

David you hit upon what I was getting at but didn't quiet catch on to what I mean. For instance I saw a lot of pictures of lets say ..a wheel..I just felt there was a lot of opportunity in those pictures for better composition without loosing the integrety of the subject matter.
Of course orginality plays an important role in life. Each picture is orginal but the subject matter was not..wasn't criticing the subject matter but rather the way that subject matter was handled in the terms of artistic expression...that is simply it.
