This is the posting thread for the February calendar challenge. (January side challenge overlaps so any January entries should be posted in the previous month's thread).

No prescribed subject but all entries should have been taken in the month of February.

Archival images may be included. Challenge will end March 5, 2026.

For those who signed up, thank you. For anyone else, please feel free to join the fun.
Please note that registered users may join by using a link to another site where the image is posted.
If your image is chosen as the month's favorite you will be asked to provide an original file in jpeg format, printable size.

This challenge will continue each month through December 2026.

Reference rules posted earlier (see previous thread here).

Enjoy!

This was taken from the street, looking West, in front of my house when I lived in NJ.
It was the first of a two day storm. I don't think I left the house the second day.

Good job with exposure keeping "detail" in both snow and sky; looks appropriately cold. :-)

Do you have any shots from before the snowplow went through?

It looks as if I took a couple of shots of the bird feeder (through the window) the evening before, as the storm got started
And then didn't take any until almost 24 hours later. This was my backyard, before I ventured out to the front
Our driveway was pretty long and steep so I tended to wait until the grunt work was done.
Years earlier of course I DID the grunt work, but not here. Actually, I may have done some. Not sure.

The snow is pretty -- glad we only see it here every 20-30 years ...

February, 2015. Precious little to mine in my February archives . . . what a miserable month. (Need I say I am not a winter person?)

Out a lookin' I go tomorrow :) First for current challenge possibilities, second for the possible side challenge bonus :)

Well I'm not finding much to submit for my February photo! I might have to do all new stuff. I'll submit this one just to throw something into the mix, cause I think although it may not be calendar worthy, it's super cute :) (that's my man in the pic)

Like Nancy, my February archives are pathetically bare. Thankfully we have had some pleasant weather here lately . . .
