Personally, I think I actually prefer this frame - the geese before they were behind/embraced by the tree. The balance feels better to me. I'm leaving both here for now and will not add another to my January images.

Apologies for my prolonged absence. An unexpected death in the family (husband's niece) occasioned an out-of-town trip. Add to that the fact that I have been very busy with other obligations the last couple of weeks. Here's a capture from our unexpected and short trip. We were able to have some quality time with special family members so that was good. I got this one for my sister who wants to gift it to her husband. It's his favorite tree from a field where they walk almost daily.
