Sandisk's Memory Sticks seem to sell themselves on higher performance - see //www.dpreview.com/news/0402/04021103sandiskmsproduolineup.asp

This was from an old post of mine and I still recommend this flash:

I use the PROMASTER FTD 5750 FLASH UNIT F/DIGITAL 9887PRO with the PROMASTER DX SONY MODULE 5550/5750 9908PRO. The flash unit can be used on different cameras, that's why you need the Sony module, so you can use it on the Sony.

I like the flash a lot. The specs on it says it is powerful enough to take a flash picture at 93 feet in a manual mode. I've never tried that, but I did a wedding with it and the pictures turned out pretty good, even though it was the first and only time I used the flash so far.

It has a normal, wide angle, and telephoto setting on it. It also comes with an extra diffuser for super wide angle. It also swivels vertically and horizontally, so if you are taking a photo in portrait mode, you can still bounce off the ceiling if you want to.

I paid $226.36 USD which included tax and shipping. I bought mine online at online@precision-camera.com. It's still the same price, $129 for the flash and $69 for the module. The module mounts to the shoe on the camera and the flash mounts on the module.
