I heard that wide angle lenses compliment car photography. Has anyone done any car photography? What kind of a lens and/or filters do you use?

Hi Heather,
I have done a fair share of it, and I don't know that there is a better setup one way or another. I have seen wide angle lenses used to give a distortion of sorts with interesting results.
I use a polarizer always, as I can control where or if reflections will show.

Here is what I have on the site (so far):

Hope this gives you ideas.

I have a few car shots in my portfolio, but no special set-up I can suggest. Stick with Brad!!

done using a 16-35L at f11 (long exposure..but I can't remember how long) for cars, ultrawides are the thing.

well it is! but the lens was at mininal focus distance, so it illustrates the advantage of ultrawide.
