Just a neat photo from my hunting trip I thought I would share. It was rather easy to line the camera up with the scope (40mm x 9X) and get a clear photo. Has anyone ever tried this with binoculars or a spoting scope?
PS: I did not shoot this deer as it is not very big, and our land is "Managed Land" in which the state wildlife biologist only gives us a limited number of tags to maintain the proper population balance. If you don't like hunting, please make your postings in the approriate rant section as this is a photogrpahy forum

Very interesting use of a scope to get a closeup. I've try it with binoculars before, but it's difficult to get a sharp image with out an adapter to hold the camera still on the lens.
Digiscoping is another option for those that have not gone the route of dSLR yet. |

yea it took a little practice to understand hand movement with sight picture translation, but once you got it, it was really easy
