Thought it might be interesting to post photos of the same woman taken within 20 days of each other. My entry features harsh lighting, no glasses which enhance wrinkles around the eyes, and processing to bring out elements of age. The snapshot portrait just has a warming filter but no other editing and was taken in a warmly lit setting with softer light. These are both portraits of myself, though I took the grunge entry and my husband took the color photo.

What a difference a bit of processing can make. Good job. Nothing grunge about the color image certainly, or the women "of a certain age" in it.
