i heard theyre ok. you can get similar if not better deals at bhphotovideo.com i just ordered my d 70 and some other stuff there, no problems at all and people easy to deal with. got my camera and everything in perfect shape.

As far as I know this place not too popular in Brooklyn, because their customer service is not good and products mostly refurbish. I don't think their internet service is much better.

I just ordered a lens from them. It was shipped on the 2nd 'of' November and it is still NOT here! Turns out they always ship ground even though I paid almost 70 dollars for shipping. That just goes to show you that cheaper is NOT better. A friend 'of' mine ordered a camera from them and he had no problems though. I will never use them again.

It is my habit to always ALWAYS go to resellerratings.com to check on a store before I buy from them. The most recent entries seem to be very negative.

I looked at ordering my new lenses from 'Abes', UNTIL I saw what their shipping charges were. They were going to charge $47.00 to ship a lens and a teleconverter! Then I saw a link to Reseller Ratings in another thread, and saw 'Abes' ratings.
I ordered from Digital Foto, on Sunday night, and my lenses arrived yesterday!! The Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 lens was only $10 more here, teleconverter price was the same, and the shipping was only $15.00.

Yeah, 'Abes' 'of' 'Maine' chardged me 68 dollars to ship a Canon 100-400 GROUND!!! WTF??? 'of' course I didnt realize it was ground until a couple days ago that i called to see whty the lens wasnt here. I ordered it on the 2nd.

UPS 3-5 day from New York (B&H) to Arizona was only $20 on the 100-400mm lens. B&H has awesome shipping prices and it always gets to me in 2 days from B&H even though it's a 3 day service.

| I've had very good service from Abe's 'of' 'Maine' and sometimes they do beat B&H Photo for price and no hassle from them, delivery is on time. |
