Sorry for the late post, but it was still in voting for Free Study. I didn't enter my outtake for "Shop or Store Interiors" because it was taken in a market, not a shop.

Your outtake in the freestudy got a 7 from me. I was pretty sure it was yours from the fisheye view. Good choice to have the text on the floor as the main subject.

I also like the outtake better and it wouldn't have bothered me at all if you used it in the "Shop" Challenge. I like the effect and it looks like you spent time editing it compared to the other choice which looks like it came right out of the camera because the horizontal axis feels off to me.

I did work on that photo too, but that was the best I could do with the axes. It was a rushed shot because I felt uncomfortable taking photos in the supermarket.

The difference between "shop" and "market" should only matter to linguists -- and after all, those people are "shopping" not "marketing" ... I went with the broader meaning of "a place people go to get stuff" ... and around here I've been looking at any finish of 5 or above to be a "success" -- we ended up tied, but I'm sure your outtake would have beaten mine comfortably. :-)
