Well I was kind of surprised that my cute little shot with this crab scored so badly  and no comments on my title ;) Maybe people missed the crab who knows, like Marion commented.
OUTAKES ARE ALL UNEDITED - except a crop on the first shot.
 I had this shot in originally but thought it was more about the ocean than the grain - still think it would have scored better than my actual entry.
 Kind of thought these patterns were funky.
 Judging by Mark's winning shot, maybe this one could have scored well, who knows? |

| I felt the focus on the crab was not sharp and difficult to identify. Maybe getting in close with a macro lens showing the sand and the crab more distinctly would have made the composition more appealing. |
