I have taken a photo on my phone but then slide some sliders and pressed done. How or is that acceptable as an original? And does dpc resize these huge photos to the dimensions for challenges as i dont know how to do that either. Thank you

Dpc resizes them, but it doesn't always do as good a job as manually editing on a computer. On the other question, id say to submit a sample to SC to examine to see if the EXIF shows it was manipulated afterwards or not.

On my Android, it saves the original and then I edit with an app that saves its own copy in a different folder.

I just tried what you did on my iphone, and it only saved one version. Have SC review a sample image.

On iPhone, you can "export unmodified original" to submit for verification.

Send a ticket: under the Help menu > Contact Us > General Inquiry

Include as much info as you can and attach the file.

I really only ever shoot (and edit) with my phone - can upload directly from the photo gallery for submission and/or for validation.

I̢۪ve turned off the compression setting that creates .HEIF files and now it makes JPEGs which are easier to handle. You can enable a RAW switch on your phone too to capture more dynamic range, also not a problem when uploading for validation.

Cheers
