Back on topic a bit.
I received two threes in the wide angle challenge. I'm really curious why, so if anybody wants to PM me and explain I won't respond or complain. I will just say thank you.
But I was curious to see if it made a difference. And even without the two threes I would have ended in the same exact spot. Just with a little higher score. But not high enough to beat the next person up. |

Which would be me :-) Regarding the two 3's, I'd be guessing some folks just don't like the extreme size distortion paw-to-face, and possibly the fact that the image is a little shy on DOF once you get to the plane of the nose and beyond. Were the face itself sharper, I bet you'd have gotten a slightly better score. FWIW, you got an 8 from me I like that sort of WA distortion a lot :-) |

Anyone else remember DPC Chat?
It wasn't officially part of the site, but it was great to pop in now and then and chat with fellow site members. |

I'm not sure if that's the original, DPC Fanatics chat (https://www.hawkins.nu/cgi-bin/gtchat/chat.pl), or not. DPC Fanatics was the original, unofficial chat, run by Manic.
