In case you are not very good at writing poetry, you can use the AI Chat - it writes it for you ... endless variations :-D. |

the description makes unfounded assertions about haiku in English. There is nothing like a consensus toward a "3-5-3" haiku. There are many interpretations for how to translate the Japanese form, which counts "on" not syllables. Haiku are often written in 1 line, sometimes 2 lines, and syllable counts vary. |

Give me a better description and I will change it. I am not an expert. OK? |

here is the least modified version;
Take a photograph. Pair it with a Haiku of your own creation. Your title should be the Haiku, with the 3 lines separated by forward slash marks: "Haiku is / mist on the water / lingering"
"Traditional" Haiku are 5-7-5 syllables. "Modern" Haiku in English are less strict about lines and syllables. Either will fulfill this challenge.
See the Challenge Suggestions thread here for more information: <--- FYI this link is missing in the description.

Thanks, Don. I tried to put in an HREF tag for the link but it is not showing. The wording is now changed, anyway. You can probably parse the href better for me, if you'd be so kind.

If it follows the DPC tags, you would need to put thread. Be sure to remove the space I left between the / and the url. Here is the syntax: [url=https://www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=1436403]thread[/ url]
