its nice to be able to get the photographers pov on the photos. these kinds of things seem like they would go great framed with the comments in the frame underneath. a little 'food for thought' kind of display

Great story with the 2nd pic,
1st one, true about the value of the penny, it is cryin out for a very low level shot up close with a deep DOF
my opinion only.

About your penny picture: *After* I read your comment on this picture, knowing it's background story, I understood the meaning of this picture. But a photograph should say more than thousand words. You might have tried to capture one of the person's walking past, without picking it up. I know the problem is that then the penny will become very small. Perhaps shooting but the bypasser's feet? |

I like the story behind the penny shot, and from that i can see how u got the title "Lonely and Worthless by it's self" but i feel that if there were a diffrent pro. on the whole thing i might gain more feeling ie.- if the penny was in focus in the fore front and the rest of the image in soft focus showing the more of the road and the srounding area.-just make the penny seem more lost in a big world.
the other shot "Bibb Manufacturing Company" looks like a snap shot in b&w if it there were shot from a diff. angle.-note:with the story it has a diffrent affect but u can't print the story on the image.
thats all IMHO, but bolth shots are well photographed tec. wise lighting, w/o noise, etc.
