There are times when a photographer is presented with having to make a choice between two fleeting subjects, both being once in a lifetime opportunities. To illustrate the point, suppose you're on a field trip with fellow photographers, and you're looking for interesting close-ups of insect life when someone alerts the group to a beetle crawling in the sand. This is a truly rare and colorful beetle, and it's about to crawl under a log. Time is of essence...

Then you see this:

put it on continuous high, and take a series :P

Then post it on the internet for everyone to see!

LMAO, Zoom in and start shooting at 8.5 fps until I fill the card! Beetle? what beetle? :D

I'm glad to see the photographer made the right choice. After all, the beetle is already being shot. :D

I would save the photo, and possibly use it as wallpaper.

But the site looks like a nerd site. :)
