Here I am again to show you a few pictures I took in the studio, the last ones I showed you were that of my fiance Lisa...My Hot Girlfriend

Now these are the newest ones I have taken of a friend (with Lisa's permission)

You know what I'm going to ask...Will you please tell me what you think?

Greetings,
Number 4 is my favorite, in #1 and 2 (counting left to right, top to bottom) she looks a bit pissed off, especially in number 2, in number 3, I think the top she's wearing is a bit dark for the photo, also in number four, the top is just not the color for her, perhaps a different color would have brought out her hair/complexion better. Just my humble opinions.

Hi Jeff

I like the lighting effects used. #1 is my favorite (shows your models eyes). My suggestion is remove her watch in #4, it's a bit distracting IMHO.

#1 - The formal lighting and bare shoulder do not seem to go with the casual look on her face. Either feature is fine, I just don't think they blend very well.
#2 - There is more shadow than #1 and I like the hair across the face. Those two things combine to add more depth and maybe show some intensity to her personality. This is my favorite of the 4.
#3 - I like the lighting and the interesting pose. The downward v from her shoulders down toward her waist and the texture of her black top seems to draw too much attention to the bottom of the frame. Maybe a slightly higher crop, right at chest level, would have help keep the focus on her face and the interesting lighting. This is my second choice of the 4.
#4 - I would like a bit more light on the eyes since the rest of the image is nicely lit. The feet are also a little bright relative to the rest of her skin.

Great work and keep them coming!

Thanks to all three of you. You all had great comments that I took into consideration. I'm trying to break into the model photography thing, so every tip helps.

Does anyone else have a critique or tip for me on modeling?

I like the first one best. On the last one, the emphasis seems to be on her arms, which I don't think is her best feature. The pose, the lighting and the watch all bring my attention there. Also, in the last one, her feet seem to appear out of nowhere because of the darkness!

Keep up the experimenting! I'm certainly no expert at anything except voicing an opinion! :)

i think these are nice, but to me it seems like you got much more creative with composition light and tones with your girlfriends pics, possibly you were more comfortable with her , i dont know but it seems like 2 different photographers

just my humble opinion
