DPReview has posted an early hands-on preview of the new "affordably priced" DSLR from Olympus: Oly EVOLT

An 8 MP sensor from Kodak, 4/3 system lens mount, and a unique side swinging mirror in place of a prism. Also announced were two new lenses, a 14-45 and a 40-150.

Sounds like a nice little camera. I have been very happy with my E-1 and for me I think it is the best camera out there in it's price range. I may look at getting the E-300 as a backup. It's a great price and should give the 300D and D70 a run for there money I think (-: In March of 2005 I think we will hear about the new E-3. I can't wait!
