Urgent advise please SC if online

Canon PowerShot Pro 90 IS

Am trying to submit my updated entry into the macro challenge but exif details on the camera say the 10.11.04 as I'm in New Zealand. Got a message to say that I couldn't upload it as the date I'd entered was outside the challenge dates. ....are you still able to upload into that challenge or not?

I would guess that the date refered to in that message is the one you put in when you submit. I'd say submit it again with a date within the challenge period and sort it out later.

we do take into consideration the time zone in which you are in. If your time is within the voting dates after you take into the time zone conversion, then all is fine. You'll just have to put in OUR date/time in the field for submission.

Whew.....panic over. Thought I was going to be doomed to be told for the next week that my shot wasn't macro enough! LOL It wasn't!

It's great knowing someone is there for advice (see I can even spell proper now) when you get it wrong. You guys do a great job.

Sounds like this might be a case of international date format difference though.

Remember:

US: 11/10/04 = 10th November
NZ: 11/10/04 = 11th October
