Much appreciated.

I sent you a note.

You must append tags when typing in the DPC forums -- readers here seem to require distinct visual cues ("hit over the head" is the usual description) for correct interpretation.

What's wrong with asking you to post your question at the head of an already existing (and "Watched") thread instead of diffusing the topic across many threads. Wouldn't a thread on "the inner workings of ShutterStuck" be the appropriate place to ask about how much photographers make anyway?

Or, better yet, ask the question in the ShutterStock forums, where you can query all their members, instead of just the few crossover members who are also here at DPC?

I thought I had read through that thread the other night, but I guess I was tired. my apologies.

I often have trouble remembering what thread/site I'm writing in .. : )

I've been "racking up" credits at $1-2/week over the three weeks I've had photos up (28 so far). About 10 photos have been downloaded, but none more than three times.

ShutterStock has only been open to "outside" photographers for about a month, so it's kind of early to expect people to be "making money," yet I've heard rumors there may already be a couple of people who will qualify for a payout. However, I expect the vast majority of us will be lucky enough just to make $1-200/year.

Locking a thread should only be done when necessary. Placing a link to similar/related discussions seems the more courteous thing to do. I think locking is over-used.

Except in this on instance, I think there have been far more complaints that it has been underused.
