Some of my prints are going to be featured at a local coffee shop!
I am very nervous.
They want me to write a little bio about myself.
I have no idea what to write.
Never been big on self-promotion...
Any ideas / experience for an amateur bio?
I will post my shots soon.

Don't be bashful about the bio. Just write a few paragraphs of real general stuff, where you were born, where you went to school, your interests and a few accomplishments, etc. And make sure your have some info about your photographic pursuits. Think a little about what kind of things would make someone want to buy your prints, maybe include a couple of points which a prospective buyer could use to engage you in a conversation if you happened to be present. Doesn't need to be very long.
Good luck with your showing. |
