Would fisheye be considered wide angle or is that more of a specialty lens and not technically wide angle?

There's no "rule" in effect about the lens used, so it would be up to the voters ...

Personally, I'm not sure how you'd get a wider field of view than you get with a fisheye ...

I will stick my neck out here as I am not on the site council but I would agree that a fisheye lens is absolutely allowed.

How about panorama stitching?

Well (again personally) I think that goes against the "spirit" of the challenge, though I don't think there's a rule against it in this case.

Standard rules for this challenge, correct? Then pano stitching absolutely allowed. No problem.
