It look like i'm the first one te register the new DSC-V3 as my default camera on this site. First images soon....
Next target: Being the first one to ribbon with it. (if I'm talented enough to get a ribbon one of these days...)

Here are the first photo. They are exponentially sharper than my old V1 was. first couple of hours are very impressing. as of now there are nothing to be deceived of. It may sound surprising but at work I often shoot with a DSC-F828 and the picture quality of the V3 is significantly better.
