| Looking for a Telephoto ,Been looking at the Canon - 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM ,What do you think about this lens. |

I had the non IS version of this lens and I wasnt satisfied with it so I sold in on Ebay. I needed ALOT of light and high ISO to take decent pictures. My advice is wait a little longer and save a little more and get a Canon EF 100-400mm L IS. Mine is in the mail now, should be here early this week. Can't wait!!!

i have the Tamron 70-300mm and i ge some decent pictures....for the price it is a great lens! here an example on a very bright day :

I've been very happy with Sigma's 50-500 EX. Wonderful tele range in one lens.
