I have a bunch of photos that I would like to share with people here that are currently on my personal site but I can't possibly move them all without taking up more than my 10mb worth of space. is dpc planning on providing more portfolio space in the near future?

i went in and deleted all my portfolios and downsized them to 440 pxl
i only used a 3rd of what i was using before, took some time and was a pain in the ass and you lose all your comments but this
is just a suggestion, someone may have an easier way

You can replace an existing portfolio image with new one, rather than deleting and readding. I believe (though I have not tested this) that if you do that, any comments are retained.

I recommend //www.Smugmug.com at $29.95/yr for unlimited photo storage.

pBase is popular too ... $20/200mb/yr and allows (pretty simple) direct linking.

I just joined pbase in September, it is a great tool for me now.

Maybe one day someone will say... 'yes, what an excellent idea, 10Mb is nothing, of course we need more space. We can see how much easier it is for people to host their images here instead of on other sites. Perhaps we might charge extra for this and get ourselves more revenue, but loads of people want this, and we listen to what our customers want'.

This is already on our list of requested enhancements... pretty much everyone involved feels this is a good idea and wants it to happen... it's the implementation planning and coding that take time.

I expect this is a feature we will see implemented, but I can't make any promises as to when.
