This may have been discussed before but I would like to know the ‘real’ answer from DCP.
If a person goes in and votes on a photo and gives it a 5 then goes back later and bumps it up by 2 [to a total vote of 7] does that count [in scoring] as 1 vote or 2. The reason I ask is if it counts as 1 vote ,then great you do not hurt the average of the photo, BUT if it counts as 2 votes then it hurts the photo. Example: [1 vote @ 7 = 7] [1 vote @5 + 1 vote @2 = 3.5]. I know if you go back and look at a photo again it adds a 1 to the views, so does it at 1 to the votes if you bump the vote? Does anyone have the answer?

A change in vote is not counted as another vote. Only the first vote from each user increments the vote count. |
