OK cpurser, I challenge you to a one-on-one, single "open challenge" duel! Whoever gets the best score on the current "macro without bugs or flowers" challenge owes the other a can of coke (or other suitable beverage). Do you accept? Can you take the pressure??? :-)
May the best photographer win...no, wait, that would be you. Then...so may the WORST photographer win!! Yeah, that's it!!!

It's settled then. On Nov. 17th (did I calculate that right, when voting is over?) I'll be bringing you a nice cold coke... NO, WAIT, I GOT THAT WRONG!!! You'll be bringing ME one....yeah, that's it... yeah...
I also look forward to your next attempt at photographing another stamp on an envelope... :-)
You know, if you win, it'll be not that big a deal, as you've beaten me on every challenge entry but one so far. But, if I win, ooooohhhhh, what an upset... You'll never live it down. (And I'll never enter another challenge.) :-)
P.S. For those others of you who might be listening in on this, we work together. Explains some of the bravado going on here... :-)

Too bad you didn't buy a macro lens instead of that light cannon :-)

| okies, I'm supporting the compact over the dSLR, did anyone notice that there is only one dSLR (5th) in the top 10 of the 'Poverty' challenge :) |

DOH!!!! I knew there was SOME reason I shouldn't have gotten that 200mm f2.8 lens and gotten something else instead!!!! Cause I needed a coke!!! :-)
Well, it's not the equipment anyway, it's the eye behind the camera that counts. Wait, then I'm STILL not in good shape!!!
DOH!!!!
C'mon voters, I'm gonna need some help, give the BAD pictures good scores this time.... ha ha ha ha ha.
