I was delighted that one of my favourite entries won the recent BBC Photography competition. It's a beatiful image, and one I suspect wouldn't do well in most DPC competitions, though perhaps it might have fared well in Impressionism.
Just thought some of you might enjoy viewing it and the other finalists/ winners.

Thanks Drew.
I'd be curious as to what people think of this photograph and also wonder whether people think it would be a suitable image for the current Impressionism challenge?
I really like the fluidity provided by the motion blur but am aware that we seldom see images like this on DPC.
That said it does remind me of an image posted here by flip89 which also relies on motion for impact and style.

Can I make clear - it's not MY work! I am just highlighting the image for opinions. When I said it was one of my favourites I meant it was one of the ones I liked most out of all the entries we were given to vote on.
