A lot of folks wondered how I got the "You're My Pal" shot. One guess was a glass bucket, which displays a resourcefulness that I am completely incapable of.
Simply, I used a really cool waterproof housing for the S40/S45/S30. This is a really fun toy. And not just for actual use underwater. Aside from the occasional foray into the bathtub, shots of the kids in the pool, or surfing shots, this thing is great for just out and about. We toss the camera in the housing, and bring it to the beach without the slightest care. No more worrying about sand, salt, or water ruining the camera. No more 20 minute photo sessions before bringing the camera back to the cottage. We leave the camera at the beach all day, and grab fantastic shots when they come up. |

You are fortunate to have one of these cases. I am looking at getting an underwater case for my camera and it looks like I will be spending as much as the camera is worth to get one. Mine wouldn't be as versatile as yours as it is mostly good for scuba diving. Nice photo btw. |

Welcher.. it was an awesome entry! I really liked it!
Where did you get the housing? Do you think they make one to fit the FujiFilm MX-2900Z?

I can't remember where I got it; some small online shop. It's made by Canon, so obviously they won't have one for your Fuji. I did a quick google search, and nothing came up right away.
I'm going to be getting a DSLR soo, jimmyn4, but will be keeping the S40 for precisely the flexibility its small form-factor, and this waterproof/element-proof housing gives me. |

By the way, did anyone get the subtle reference in my title? I was so tickled with myself over that, and not a single comment indicating someone got it! |

I assume you are refering to Sesame Street and the "Rubber Ducky" song? |
