Why do you place someone (such as the person who started this thread or yourself) above the voters who cast a 1? I think people who only use the top half of the voting scale skew the results just as much, or more, than the people who "aren't afraid to call a spade a spade".
I wish people would grow up and stop the name calling (troll, creep) just because someone doesn't vote their entry high enough to please them. |

i vote 1s all the time and i'm not afraid to say it. the entire voting scale is there for us to use.
i'm not out to hurt anyone's feelings, but there are a lot of photos that DESERVE low votes too... |

Turned out that the photo in question didnt get a single 1! :o

| I think I'll slice my self a big serving of humble pie...I am so hungry for a ribbon, it hurts. Thank you to everyone for the comments, and please forgive my over-reaction and frustration. One of these days I'll snag that ribbon - until then, I'll keep my rants to my self and be happy that I make the top 20 now and then! : ) |

Yup, a nice Gaussian distribution curve. I wish everyone would stop complaining about their scores, we all get what we deserve, if you check out all the scores of all the different photos you'll see they all have a bell curve, the extremely good ones are skewed to the right and the not so good ones are skewed to the left.
