Sorry if this has been discussed before in an earlier thread, I searched but didn̢۪t see it anywhere.
I was going to sign up to be a member today but when I went to sign up it goes through paypal. I have no problem with that since I have a paypal account but I would have to transfer funds from my bank to paypal and that will take up to 5 days with tomorrow being the weekend. Is paypal the only form of method of payment?

No, you can go direct with your credit card, it just uses paypal (You don't even have to have a paypal account). I signed up with a credit card, I don't have a paypal account, everything was instant.

Copied & pasted from FAQ part of this site. If there is a faster way, I would be curious to know too.

Can I give a membership as a gift? Yes! Visit the gift subscription page for more information.

Can I pay to become a member my check or money order? Yes, we can accept check or money order. You'll need to send your payment in US Dollars. Be sure to note your username and user ID on the site with your payment. Contact us for a mailing address.

I just paid the registration fee via PayPal and I'm not a member yet -- WHY? 99% of the time this is due to the fact that you paid via an E-Check. E-Checks can take up to a week to clear. As soon as the payment is cleared, you will become a member.

Just wanted to say that if you have trouble paying, feel free to use the help/contact link; Drew & Langdon are very helpful in resolving these issues.

I can get direct transfers from my bank account when I don't have money readily in there. I know it's done that when I've paid for things and didn't have enough funds in the PayPal account. It'll just automatically take them from your bank account with no charge. At least it did for mine.

Paypal will allow an instant transfer from your bank account when you make the payment. You do not need to first fund your account before making the payment.

Just make sure the funds are in your bank account before making the payment.

Make sure you are typing in your name exactly as it appears on your credit card (including middle initial), and are typing your billing address exactly as it appears on your bill.
