A few people told me my pic had too much of a yellowish tint. so i played around with it. is it better now?

in my opinion i think your the entry is better! the edited one is too much red this is my opinion! nice foto! gave it a 6 :) |

What they meant is that your photo had a yellow tint because your white balance should have been set for tungsten and was farther towards daylight/flourecent.
So you need to get the hues back as close to normal as possible, so that the white walls look white.
Try shifting it back towards the blue-greens, to give it a 'colder' feel. But only enough to make it look natural. |

The white walls might be not be white. |

The white walls might be not be white. |
the closest one is, but not the others. the kitchen actually has yellowish walls |

HSL was too difficult. I used the Channel Mixer (for the first time), and it was pretty simple- mostly the Constant slider. |

This kind of color correction is really easy to do in Photoshop Elements. You just use Color Correction and the eyedropper to click on something in the picture that should be white, black or gray and it corrects the white balance. |
