on this one, i forgot to turn the flash off then it turned out to be more in focus than the others but still a little oof. i knew about fill flash but it seems a little strange to me..but then i like it...but then it seems strange...so im not sure

these are some i was going to use for the implied lines challenge and decided not to....do you think any would be doing better than a 4.7 that i have now? the last one would have been larger for the challenge

these are some others that i would just like and opinon on

once again i would appreciate and comments on these...its hard to know what I am doing right and wrong when I take the pics myself

like when you cook and you want someone to taste it to see if it needs anything

Hey riotspyne,

I like the experimenting. First pic, if light was low, then the flash would have sharpened it, it freezes the movement. Its a good shot, little soft on focus.

The three 'lines', I think either 1 or 2 would have scored pretty well. Like 3 but not for that challenge.

The two portraits are great, I know some people complain about subject being off centre, but I prefer the setup. I assume 2 is your son, wow, he really earns his corn now. It's a super portrait, well done.

The bird is nice, the reflection helps pull it off.

Keep at it.

The first one seems to be out of focus, and it didn't strike me as a very good picture opportunity. I can't tell what he's doing if anything...

Didn't care for the first heart one, but the second one is pretty original, I'd like it better if all the little things you have making shadows were standing up straight.

The hotwheels cars are ok, could be sharper, use a smaller aperture.

The first portrait is good, I like the sepia coloring, and the off center composition is a little odd but I think I would prefer it over a centered composition.

The kid portrait is ok, could use some USM. These kinds of pictures are sort of cliche, so don't spend too much time on these types of portraits.

The bird...it looks evil.
