Challenges have to be added by the site administrators.

On some occasions the process is delayed by several hours. This is one such occasion.

It's true, and there are times it can be bloody frustrating - for example, earlier this year I was going off to Paris on the Eurostar, but unfortunately I chose a Wednesday morning to leave. Hung on to the last possible minute before having to go, and STILL no news on the new challenge. Ended taking picture of everything just in case it was valid. Nothing was. SO, the moral is, never leave for holiday on a Wednesday. see how this site controls your life! it's terrible!

Amateur. ;)

Ifyou're really hooked, you'd have taken your camera with you and have logged on at every internet cafe en route.

Because the Open challenge rolls over on a Tuesday night, D&L sometimes forget to add a new one into the queue, and thus the Open challenge sometimes doesn't start until they wake up on Wednesday and realise :o)

I think the real moral of this story is to take photos of everything, just because

Awww.

If it's a queue, though, why can't we load it up for the month, say 3 weeks ahead of time? Just D&L or something, and keep it unknown from admins? That way it's loaded? Or is it not really a queue as much as a "drop this one in at 12:01" lol
