Don't really have any pics to post, but someone I know just recently left the PhotoTrekker AW for a Crumpler Shrinkle backpack. I'm personally looking at the Crumpler 15 Love. You can check them out at //www.ebags.com

Here are some pics.
I had this pack and found it too heavy, bulky and cumbersome. I exchanged it for a Photo Trekker Classic and. possibly, even the CompuTrekker (thoughts pending).

Hey Randy, I don't know much about that bag (I have the Nova 4, which I love) but I noticed you were in Ontario...
If you get a new bag, I strongly suggest checking out Photoco Canada in person or online...They're just outside of Montreal and they saved me a chunk of money on my bag!

Thanks for the link ,but they don't show what the back of the bag looks like with the harness&belt packed away .The instructions are not very clear as to how to do this ,I wanted to see if I did it right or not . It looks kind of wrong the way i did it . |

The back of the bag is heavily padded. One layer of the padding forms something akin to a centre column, which is, in fact, a velcro pocket.
To adjust the shoulder straps (and the height of the pack on your back and hips), the idea is to insert the plastic sheet, which opens the velcro (during the adjustment) and locks it again, when you remove it. A great idea, I thought at first, but changed my mind when all possible adjustments resulted in an ill-fitting position of the pack on my body.
I am, however, tall. It might fit someone of a slighter build.

I have that part all figured out ,it fits well, seems comfortable enough for being so heavy, but The straps are to go in the flap were the velco is and the belt should go under itself at the bottom of ther bag ,when this is all done it should look like a suit case it just looks wrong to me |

I find it hard to reconstruct all this from memory, Randy. I believe you can tuck away the straps in the velcro pocket and then carry the pack like a case. There is an optional handle on the long side of the pack for just this purpose, isn't there?
