iPhoto---Need keyword help! - DPChallenge Forums

I would like to add more than the allotted 14 keyword boxes in iPhoto. Is this possible? I have not been able to figure out a way and the iPhoto help and a Google search didn't produce any answers.

I don't know which version of iPhoto you're using, Melissa. With iPhoto 4, I seem to be able to create an indefinite number of keywords.

Oops! I meant to include that info with my question but I got sidetracked by something else. Anyway, I'm using an older version---1.1.1. I guess I need an upgrade?

From v. 1, yes, I would upgrade. You want to make sure though that your version of the OS is as current as the v. of iPhoto you're upgrading to. If you're behind with both, upgrade your OS first, then iLife (or iPhoto).

The most current OS is 10.3.5, with iPhoto at v. 4.0.3. Hope this helps.

I'm using OS Jaguar edition.

OS 10.3.5 is Panther. If you don't want the expense of upgrading to Panther, I'm afraid all you can do is run Software Update to bring you up to speed. Considering that a new OS (Tiger) will be available in approx. three months, I can't recommend paying for an upgrade to Panther either.

Go to System Preferences > Software Update and follow prompts.
