Re: the thread in which we were discussing drugs.
I'm a relatively new member here. Could someone please explain to me why this thread was locked? Are we not allowed to discuss such things?
Since my earlier comments were directed specifically at General, he and I have decided to take our discussion to e-mails. I would invite anyone else who enjoys a lively discussion about world issues to do the same. My e-mail address is on my profile, please feel free to send me e-mails discussing whatever you want. :)
Take care and best wishes to all...
sher :)

I closed the thread, because it was supposed to be discussing the challenge topic "Yellow". I said you could carry on the discussion in another, non-photography related forum if you wanted, such as the Rant forum.

Was there going to be an option for moderators to move threads in this version of DPC? I thought that was discussed.
I think it would be really nice if off-topic discussions that haven't gotten rude or personal could just be moved somewhere more appropriate rather than locked. But I've said that before :P. |

thanks for the explanation, Konador.
i agree with lisae on this. as long as the discussion remains civil, i would much rather it just be moved instead of locking us out. is there a technical problem that prevents this?
