Here are a couple of candid shots of two of my kids while they were playing. The first is of my son as he was playing at a friends house. The second is my daughter as she rode by on one of my sister-in-law's horses.
Any comments would be appreciated. (keep in mind tho that these are indeed candid :) |

I like the second one alot! Really cute expression, you can see that she's proud of somthing (ai riding the horse I'm guessing) And the lighting is pretty good to :)
I don't like the first one as much, harsh shadow and the face is such a little part of the picture! it's interesting and a cool perspective but I like the second one better :) |

I begg to differ with DogAngel here. The first one realy works for me as the composition emphasises the eye contact aspect of the portrait.
Both stand up very well though. The love shines through. |

Two adorable shots - the expressions are great and the focus on both is excellent!

Both are beautiful shots. The first one of the boy, however, is my favorite despite the shadow on his face. That is a beautiful place for a shot...It would be interesting to see that same shot with some lighting though.
