Is anyone familiar with Canoga Camera? They're advertising a Lexar Flash card 80x 1 GB WA for $106.94, which sounds like a good price since I paid $119.95 for a Lexar 512 MB card. I'm just not familiar with this store.

Thank you,

Dusty

It is a good price, and they are a very reputable reseller. I went to Rob Galbraith's CF Card Database to check out the card-to-computer transfer speeds for the Lexar 80x, but it seems he has not received final production cards for testing. They likely will be among the top cards for speed.
The 10D can benefit from a fast card, to an extent, but the difference between moderately fast cards and the fastest cards is slight if anything. The only thing you gain is the faster transfer speed to the computer, and then only if your reader is a fast USB 2.0 or FireWire reader.
I just bought two 1GB Sandisk Ultra II cards from mwave.com for $82.64 each. Very happy with the speed and the price!

WAIT!!

Go to B&H in NYC ( or their website) They are having a sale on Lexar 1GB 80X Compact Flash cars for 99.95 with a $30.00 Mail in Rebate, so the final cost is only $69.95!!

I think this link will work, if not just look up B&H PHOTO on a search.

Geez, $70 after rebate, that's very cheap! I'm not sorry I bought the Sandisk cards from mwave tho, since I really hate mail-in rebates, and avoid them unless they are large dollar value. If I'd seen this prior to ordering it may, however, have changed my path, LOL.
